Change Leeds Week - Monday 11th - Friday 15th October
Leeds Community Foundation are holding the second annual 'Change Leeds Day' in October, encouraging people to work together collectively to change Leeds for the better.
This year, though, the day long celebration which was dubbed as Leeds' answer to Comic Relief, will be extended for a full week, from 11th to 15th October.
The Leeds Community Foundation have challenged the people of Leeds to raise money for local charities during Change Leeds Week. All the money will be used in Leeds, and every pound raised will be doubled upon donation.
Details about how to get involved and how to donate your money can be found at www.changeleeds.com.
Rachel said "Leeds Community Foundation do excellent work for our community, and Change Leeds day last year was a fantastic experiment in how we can work together to improve our city, and I'm delighted that it has been extended to a full week year. I encourage people to raise money for the future of our city."
